INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES

Are you looking for an opportunity to work with the Flu shot program at MVNA? Then we want to hear from you. We have opportunities for you to earn extra income on a seasonal basis (September-December).  We are looking for both nurses (RN’s or LPN’s) and registrars to assist with flu shot clinics.

 Nurses will administer the vaccines and supervise the clinics; registrars will assist with the paperwork and collection of money.  We seek nurses with:

• Current RN/LPN Professional license in MN (or state where clinic is held)     

• Current CPR certification and ability to administer

• E-mail and access to the Internet

• Reliable transportation

• Lift up to 40 pounds

• Complete annual orientation

• Work in non traditional clinical setting

• Independent worker

•  Punctual

• Handle money and complete reports accurately

• Physically capable of walking and sitting up to 7 hours

• Administer up to 25-30 shots per hour

• Demonstrates ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language

• Excellent customer service skills

Rate of Pay for RN’s is $27.00 per hour

Rate of Pay for LPN’s is $20.00 per hour
