Dear Prospective Registrar:                                                                                 2008

This letter is to invite you to learn more about Minnesota Visiting Nurse Agency’s Flu Shot Program.  Minnesota Visiting Nurse Agency (MVNA) is a non-profit home care nursing agency that serves

clients regardless of their ability to pay.  Proceeds from the flu shot program help support this mission.

Registrars are needed to staff our flu shot clinics that are generally held in October, November,

and December of each year.  Our clinics are held at CUB Foods stores throughout the state, senior centers and churches.  Most of the clinics are held on weekdays (mainly during daytime hours)

and an occasional Saturday.

To learn more about our program, you will need to attend ONE informational/interview session

that will describe our program and answer any questions that you may have. You will have an opportunity to participate in a brief interview (required for employment).

Informational sessions are scheduled every month:

2nd Tuesday        2:00 pm –   3:00 pm

3rd Thursday    11:30 am – 12:30 pm

*** Additional Informational Sessions have now been added ***

July 22, 2008  2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

July 31, 2008  11:30 am - 12:30 pm

August 26, 2008  2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

September 4, 2008 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

September 9, 2008 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

September 11, 2008 11:30 am - 12:30 pm

All sessions will be held at MVNA, 3433 Broadway Street NE, Suite 300, Minneapolis. Attending the informational session does not necessarily guarantee a position in the program.  It is designed to provide information that will determine if the Influenza Program is workable; both for you and for MVNA.  Be prepared to come with the following pieces of information:

·         Picture ID (driver’s license)

·         Social Security Number (required for possible background check)

·         Any information needed for a job application

CLICK HERE to register for a session.

A limited number of attendees are allowed at each session.   Plan to attend your requested session, as no further notification will be sent before that time.  You will need to arrive on time.

Best regards,
